The Port of Lancaster Smokehouse uses age old traditional smoking hut techniques to produce our famous Lancashire Kippers which are a delicious alternative to Manx Kippers and Crastor Kippers.
Our kippers are smoked daily in our traditional smokehouse beside the harbour at Glasson Dock and are posted the same day to ensure they arrive with you deliciously fresh.
Orders are shipped Monday to Friday.
Orders for 2 whole kippers or 2 kipper fillets aresent by first class post and generally arrive the following day. Orders received before 3.30pm will be posted that day.
Orders for boxes are packed with ice and shipped by courier for delivery the next day. Orders received before 2.00pm will be shipped that day.

For those of you who love kippers but hate the bones, the Smokehouse introduced traditionally smoked kipper fillets with no artificial colouring or additives.These kippers are luscious visually, with wonderful texture, subtle flavour and have a beautiful skin.
